What Actually Kills You

Contact with spike tips, corridor walls, or solid floating blocks ends the run. Near-misses that graze the outer spike line still count. The game does not care that you “almost” centered the gap.

Triangular Openings (V-Gaps)

Most early corridors are built from repeating V shapes. The safe path peaks in the middle of each opening. Enter low or high on purpose only when the next gap clearly demands it; otherwise reset to center after every corner.

Long Spike Rows

Long rows remove the empty space you used for recovery. Your pulse length must stay short and even. If you try to “catch up” with one big hold, you usually climb into the ceiling row. Survive spike rows with rhythm, not hero corrections.

  2. Choose center, high, or low for that opening.
  3. Match press length to that choice—then fully release or re-hold as planned.

  • Reacting to the spike tip you are about to hit instead of the gap beyond it.
  • Swerving around floating blocks into a wall that was always lethal.
